The New Moon used to be a time of rest for the witch but nowadays, it’s very different.

During the NM, I find it to be the best time to harvest your herbs for your upcoming magickal workings because it is my opinion that the harvested herbs are just that, harvested herbs, without a specific label of waining moon or waxing moon power.

They are completely neutral until you make up your mind as to which ritual they shall be used for.
